What brought you to Cornwall – if you don’t live here?:

Cornish born and bred! :)

Where is your favourite place in Cornwall and why?:

Longrock – it’s the beach where I grew up, my son’s first home and it’s so freakin’ picturesque!

What camera/mobile phone do you usually use for your photos?:

I mostly use my Samsung S6 for ease of social media uploads

If you could take a photograph of anyone or anywhere in the world, where or who would you choose?:

I have a Pinterest board full of beautiful places that I want to see but I think I’d have to say a photo of my son at Disneyland. I really want to take him when he’s older – mainly because I’ve never been!

Describe Cornwall in a maximum of three words:

Beautiful views everywhere

Pasty or Cream tea?:

I hate to admit that I’m not a fan of the traditional Cornish steak – I tend to go for cheese and bacon or pork and apple, so I’m gonna go with cream tea. You can’t go wrong with one of those – unless they don’t give you enough cream!

If you could be anywhere in the World right now doing anything, what would you be doing and where?:

I’d really love to Interrail for a good six months and stop off in loads of lovely places. My partner wants to do something similar and cycle from Barcelona to Rome – think we’re gonna need to compromise!

Please tell me a random fact about you?:

Ya know that dangly thing at the back of your throat? Mine is split in two and has been since birth. Always fascinates new doctors and dentists!

Thanks Emma, I love your photos and I am glad my youngest isn’t the only Cornish person who isn’t a pasty fan. I may not disown him now ;)

You can not beat a cream tea and always put the jam on first (I think that is the Cornish way and I’m from Devon so don’t tell no-one!!) x #PicknMix

Never heard of Longrock & been to cornwall a few times although sadly not for over 10 years. 6 hour drive & 2 kids makes it less desirable ha ha! Lovely pictures. #picknmix lifeinthemumslane

Now I really need a cream tea (actually I prefer my scones just with lashings of real butter, sorry), and an ice-cream. Luckily I keep a stash of ice-cream in the freezer for just such an occassion. Lovely photos.

Ooh I’d love to interrail too, I think we’ll end up getting a camper van instead though for our huge trip, but I hope I’ll still interrail one day. Great photos, it’s lovely to hear tips about the area from a local!
