Welcome to another addition to the Photos of Cornwall interview series. This time with the very lovely Ray of Lukeosaurus and Me.
What brought you to Cornwall – if you don’t live here?
I love being by the sea – it has a calming effect on me! Cornwall seems to be the perfect little corner of the UK to escape to when life gets too hectic. Everything, from the people to the architecture, it never fails to cheer me up.
Where is your favourite place in Cornwall?
I couldn’t decide between St Ives and Whitsand Bay Beach.
What camera/mobile phone do you usually use for your photos?
iPhone 6, occasionally I borrow my dads Canon DSLR.
If you could take a photograph of anyone or anywhere in the world, where or who would you choose?
I’d really love to be able to capture the Northern Lights.
Describe Cornwall in a maximum of three words:
Beautiful, peaceful and idyllic.
Pasty or Cream tea?
If you could be anywhere in the World right now doing anything, what would you be doing and where?
Right now, I’d love to be on a nice sunny beach somewhere sipping cocktails out of a coconut!
Please tell me a random fact about you?
I love keeping aquariums. Currently, I have two tropical tanks on the go, and I used to have a really big cold water one. I love learning all about different species of fish, their origin and the science behind creating the perfect ecosystem to keep them happy and healthy.
Thank you Ray! The Northern Lights are on my bucket list for the future too, I love aquariums and considering how cold it is right now, a hot beach somewhere with cocktails sounds pretty perfect to me.
