Welcome to another addition to my favourite section – Photos of Cornwall. Today Jo from Organised Jo is sharing her photos of Cornwall and answering a few questions.
What brought you to Cornwall – if you don’t live here?:
I have visited Cornwall may times, and for many different reasons. First was family holidays with my parents and sister, hen do’s and shopping in Newquay (obvs) and then I married into the Cornish clan, if you couldn’t already tell from the surname. We now visit Cornwall about six times a year which include visiting family, holidays and quick camping trips.
Where is your favourite place in Cornwall?:
Oh my, this is difficult, there are so many different places I love. Sorry to break the rules but I’m going to have to split down two for this. The first is Gwithian Beach on the North coast, the beach goes on for miles and is gorgeous! The second is Pentewan Sands on the South coast. The campsite there is perfect right on the beach and such a great place for a family get away.
What camera/mobile phone do you usually use for your photos?:
I haven’t invested in a camera yet so I take my pictures on my iPhone. Currently using a 6s.
If you could take a photograph of anyone or anywhere in the world, where or who would you choose?:
Oh my, great question. It would have to be a picture of my family on an adventure somewhere. Where – so many places to choose, I think it would be somewhere in Great Britain, probably on a beach, with a campsite near by.
Describe Cornwall in a maximum of three words:
Stunningly beautiful coastline
Pasty or Cream tea?:
Oh pasty all the way!!
If you could be anywhere in the World right now doing anything, what would you be doing and where?
I would love to be back in New York. My delightful husband surprised me with a trip there for my 40th and there was so much we didn’t do or see, even though we didn’t stop for three days. I think we would be in Central Park in a warm summers day having a breakfast picnic of pancakes.
Please tell me a random fact about you?:
I used to play rugby, in fact I am a National Champion (well was in 2003).
Thanks Jo for sharing your photos with us! I especially love the Eden one with the girls looking at the biomes, it is absolutely gorgeous. Very impressed with your rugby skills and Pentewan is one of my very favourite places!
