What brought you to Cornwall – if you don’t live here?

We went for our Summer Family Holiday

Where is your favourite place in Cornwall?

Whilst there are so many gorgeous beaches, I think I love Padstow the best. The 1st time we went 2 years ago I remember driving down into it and loving the quaint little harbour and scenery, so beautiful! I love how you can get a ferry ride to Rock and the kids enjoy biking the camel trail to get there…it feels like you are a million miles away.

What camera/mobile phone do you usually use for your photos?

My Samsung galaxy S6

If you could take a photograph of anyone or anywhere in the world, where or who would you choose?

I’d love to go to Egypt and capture the great pyramids

Describe Cornwall in a maximum of three words:

Gorgeous, far, tasty

Pasty or Cream tea?

Pasty

If you could be anywhere in the World right now doing anything, what would you be doing and where?

I think I would love to just be living somewhere warm having a slower pace of life with the fam. I love being a mum, but am not enjoying Winter this year or the crazy school runs everyday. I long for more adventures together and to see the kids grow and enjoy it … as for where, that would be is hard to say as there are so many lovely places in the world!

Please tell me a random fact about you?

As a teenager I was in the Air cadets and dreamed of being in the RAF – I loved planes, flying and the whole thing, but I don’t really know what happened with that one?

Thank you Mary, I love your photos. Especially the jumping off the dunes one!

If you would like to take part in Photos of Cornwall, then drop me an email at acornishmum@aol.com and I will tell you what you need to do. You don’t need to be a blogger or a professional photographer, it is open to anyone who wants to share their love of Cornwall.

Brilliant photos especially the one on the sand dunes, looks like so much fun! I actually dislike Padstow, it’s the only part of Cornwall I don’t like because it feels so busy and commercialised. Desperate to go to Heligan next time we’re in Cornwall though.

Some great photos again this week. I particularly like the one at Heligan, it’s the sort of photo I would try and stage but wouldn’t turn out as good.

Every week I read this post and think I NEED to go to Cornwall. I definitely want to go to Padstow, if only to eat at Rick Steins restaurant!

We have sand dunes just like the ones in the first photo, but its usually too cold and windy in NE Scotland to be out there and now well bundled up! #picknmix

Love the sand dunes. We have them here by the Greak Lakes and we have been visiting since I was a baby.

So many lovely photographs! I’ve went to Egypt pre-war with my OH.. pre-kids. It was such a fabulous place. But if I have to go again I would go with a tour guy, they are so many hustlers over there.

I also love to go and see The Lost Gardens of Heligan too – I’ve never been there before. Thank you for sharing. x #PicknMix
