Ten Things About Me!

Being a new blogger, I thought it would be fun to get to know more about other bloggers, and about my readers! Below I’ve listed ten things about myself, that you might not know, and I would like other bloggers to tell me ten things about themselves!

Non bloggers feel free to comment below, and tell me a fun or weird fact about yourself!

Daisy

Anyway here are my facts!

1. I have been skydiving! Really! I did a solo jump out of a plane a few moments after one of my older sisters jumped, and it was absolutely amazing!

2. I have 4 sisters (two of whom are more than 18 years younger than me eek ), 2 step brothers, and one stepsister, and they all have children, therefore as you can imagine my Christmas card list is huge just for family!

3. I have a Foundation Degree in Travel Industries Management, which involved a lot of tourism modules, that although I loved doing, have never used! It may come in handy for parts of this blog though!

4. I am addicted to list writing and note books! This drives Simon a little mad at times, as I am definitely a pre planner! I have also been known to write a list of lists that I need to write!

 5. My ultimate top Bucket List item would be to see the Northern Lights with Simon. Have any of you seen them, and are they as amazing as I imagine?!

6. This one I am a little embarrassed by, I can not ride a bike! Am I in a minority of one here, or are there other similarly lacking in natural balance?

7. I am going to give blood for the first time next month, and I am ridiculously nervous for some reason. Reassure me please anyone, that it’s not that bad? (this one will be in March at some point, as I couldn’t go due to an awful cold!)

8. I love ballet, obviously not to do myself with my lack of balance, but I love to watch it. There’s just something about such control, elegance and a real beauty to it I feel.

9. I’m really quite short at just 5 foot 2, and usually have to embarrass myself, by asking random strangers to pass me down items from high shelves in shops!

10. I have lived in 17 houses in my 31 years (32 in April gulp) on this planet! We have lived in our current house for over 2 years now, and I am hoping that’s my last move, as 16 house moves is a lot of unpacking!

Hey lovely! I love your list!

I too am a list person. It drives Mark mad! I have to write lists of lists, and even them worry that I’m not prepared!
Wow, that’s a big family! I thought that I had a big family, being the eldest of four, with 2 children myself and 3 nieces and nephews!
That’s a lot of moving! I’ve always lived in the same house and town. Even when I got married, I only moved across town, and that was only 2 years ago!!
    Xx

Ha Laura, you make me laugh as I am exactly the same with lists! I do get a little bit over excited about a new notepad ;) My boyfriend has always lived on the same road, we live 2 doors away from his parents, so he’s the complete opposite to me!

    Hey!

I thought I would reassure you on 2 points, I can’t ride a bike – I have no balance at all and giving blood is easy.

The nurses are always great with me and keep me calm.

    Good luck!

Thanks, lovely! I’m glad it’s not only me ha! I think finally the cold I have had since the beginning of Feb has disappeared, so will be looking to donate blood soon :) With a type 1 diabetic who has a minimum of 4 injections a day, I can’t be seen to be wimpy over needles!!

Lovely to learn more about you. Hope you don’t have to move again, and that your blood donating went well. I’ve got some much younger half sibblings and I’m not always sure how to be a sister to them :-(

I’ll add your linky to my free add linky board if you don’t mind. :-) #aNoviceMumTwitterFeed

Of course I don’t mind lovely! Blood donation is still on the to do list, I had a cold for over three weeks then keep being busy in the dates that they do it at my local one, so will have to swap things around for the next one as really do want to do it!

    Stevie :) x
