When Colour&Fun the online Amazon shop asked if I would like to receive some of their stationery and run a competition for my readers, it didn’t take me long to decide to say yes. As a slight (massive) stationery addict, I am strongly of the opinion that you can never have enough stationery.
There is just something so visually pleasing about seeing a rainbow of colours in pens and pencils. Each pen or pencil having so many possibilities depending on the hand that wields them. Sadly for my part I am horrendous at drawing, I do however love a colourful to do list or weekly blog plan.
Even mundane tasks such as writing the food shopping list for the week can be a bit less ‘meh’ when a bit of colour is added to it. I wasn’t expecting Colour&Fun to send me quite so much stationery, the huge box that arrived contained all sorts of colourful things. Here’s a quick run down of what I received and at the bottom of this will be the giveaway competition and information on how to enter.
So I received;
Fibracolor Rainbow Colouring Pencils – Box of 192.
The cool thing about these Fibracolor Rainbow Colouring Pencils is that not only are they bright, but they also come with their own pencil pots. There are four that interconnect and can actually be separated. This means that if you have more than one child, you can separate the pots for each of their bedrooms or so that whilst colouring they have their own pot and less reason to argue. This would also work well for school settings as well.
Fibracolor Baby Color Fibre Colouring Pens Super Washable – Pack of 10
The baby colouring pens are suitable for age one plus and are so cute with little teddy bears on them. Aside from the cuteness though, there’s a reason why they’re suitable from such a young age.
They have vented anti-choking caps for safety, an essential for small children. Also with a rounded security nib on the end, they’re really one of the safest options pen wise. They’re also very sensibly super washable.
As there aren’t any children that small in our family anymore, these are one of the items that you can win in the giveaway below!
Fibracolor Colorito Thin Point Fiber Colouring Pens Super Washable – Pack of 36
The Colorito Thin Point Fiber washable colouring pens are finely tipped for more accurate colouring and drawing for older children over the age of three. These really do draw very nicely.
Fibracolor Aquarello Brush Tip Colouring Fibrepens Super Washable – Pack of 12
The brush tip fibrepens are my favourite sort of colouring pen for colouring in and the coverage is so smooth without streaky lines. These ones though, you can also moisten with water for a watercolour effect as you draw. So really just like painting.
Fibracolor Colour Change Magic Pens (9+1)
The colour changing pens are the second item that you can win in the giveaway. Basically you have 9 coloured magic marker pens here and one pen that is a magic changer pen. The changer pen when drawing over the other magic pens, changes the colour of the other pens’ ink. You can do some really lovely effects with them.
I have tried pens like this before, but since I’m giving these to use as a prize I did refrain this time.
Little Brian Classic Colours Paint Sticks (Pack of 12)
Now these little paint sticks are what I call pure genius! I used to love painting with the boys when they were small, but hated the mess of them knocking the water over covering their clothes in paint.
With the paint sticks you don’t need any water at all. They’re also fully washable and although they go on to paper really smoothly and nicely, it just rubs off of skin. Honestly genius. Obviously they aren’t as accurate and delicate as a paint brush, but they really are perfect for smaller children to use.
Fibracolor Colouring Pens Colori Conic Tip Fibre Super Washable – Box of 100
All the colours of the rainbow and a lot more are covered by these conic tip pens. Like all the other pens these are also washable – definitely an essential when it comes to children of all ages. I love that there are so many different shades, for more realistic pictures. I remember as a child in all my pictures of myself, I had to colour my face in with a bright pink pen which ruined my pictures.
Fibracolor Bipunta Double Ended Fibre Colouring Pens Super Washable – Pack of 24
These double ended colouring pens are so handy. When colouring in you can use the thicker end for the big areas you’re colouring and the finer end for the more delicate careful areas. Or for outlining things. There’s also a lot of colours included.
MyBuild Patented Block Building Toy Base Defender Bricks to Fantastic Robot
The MyBuild robot is a bit of a random addition to this post with all its stationery, but it is something that we were also sent by Colour&Fun. My 12-year-old made it without any difficulty at all.
The robot’s head that you can see is actually a little figure of a man, which is great and adds to the ways in which you can play with the robot. Ours has been having wars with some of their other characters, so far he has survived well!
The only thing that I would say with this one, is that when you put on the utility belt that the small character owns, the legs of the character don’t stay on well on our one. This may just be ours, but as soon as you take the belt off they fit very securely again, so ours won’t be wearing it. It makes no difference really.
We loved all of the contents of our very large parcel from Colour&Fun. If you would like to win one set of the baby color pens and one set of the Colour Change magic pens, then please do enter via the rafflecopter below.
UK only and my usual competition terms and conditions can be found here – A Cornish Mum’s Competition Terms and Conditions.
Good Luck!
