Bledhen Nowydh Da: Happy New Year

I’ll keep it short and sweet today, mostly as I’ve started the New Year with the lurgy and am feeling rubbish – thanks for the germs children ha. I wanted to wish you a Happy New Year though.

Happy New Year - Bledhen Nowydh Da!

Or in Cornish –¬†Bledhen Nowydh Da! I hope 2018 is a fantastic year for all of you.

Happy new Year to you and your family. I also had the dreaded lurgy. Made me bed ridden for 3 days. Was so very ill with it. So glad im moving now though. X

So many people seem to be ill at the moment! We’re all just so chesty, coughing, achey and bunged up. It could be worse though and it’s a good excuse to hibernate :) Happy New Year x

This is interesting! In Welsh we say “Blwyddyn Newydd Dda” (blue-thin neh-with – th-ah) I knew that the languages were similar. But that’s so interesting! Thank you for sharing!
