With so many bloggers in the world now, there are bound to be many things that bloggers disagree on. That many people, there is no way that they all think the same as each other.
Well that many people and the fact that they are all opinionated enough to want to write about their thoughts in the first place. Bloggers tend to be passionate about what they do, otherwise they tend to give up pretty early on in.
If you didn’t love blogging, you certainly wouldn’t stick around to do it once you discovered that it isn’t a get rich quick scheme and it does take a lot of work ha!
Sometimes the passion that people feel for blogging seems to lead them to feel real anger at people that they feel are ‘cheating’ or doing things that they themselves believe to be wrong.
Not a week goes by these days that I don’t see a thread somewhere or a tweet that is a blogger slating another blogger individually or a group of bloggers. There’s outrage over someone who wrote a very similar post to theirs even though the topic is one that the other person easily could have thought of on their own.
There’s anger over people using Instagram/Facebook/Comment pods etc etc to improve their interaction levels. I don’t use any sort of pod, it just isn’t me. However I don’t feel the need to condemn those who do and I know within these pods some real friendships have been made between the members.
If someone disagrees with my opinion I am not going to go to a Facebook group and slate them. Who I am to say that my opinion is the right opinion and theirs the wrong one? Seriously life is too short for all that rubbish and for arguing constantly with people over things that you can not change. Boy would it be a boring world if we all thought the same.
Live and let live is pretty much a motto that I live by, along with ‘be kind’. As far as I am concerned bloggers you do you and I’ll do me. You may do things differently than I do, but is that really affecting me? Everyone is different and does things for different reasons.
I don’t sell do-follow links, but I know plenty that do and that is their choice. At the end of the day a massive amount of bloggers in my experience are stay at home parents who are trying to earn money at home so that they can stay at home with their children or so that they can afford their mortgage/rent.
I refuse to judge other bloggers, just like I refuse to judge people in real life.. unless they’re a convicted criminal who did something awful etc etc, but you know what I mean. Or if they like to eat tins of salmon and chew on the bones… looking at you here Simon you grimmer.
