boxwild contents

Inside the Children’s Bird gift box you have:

A paint your own nesting box.

A boxwild blend of bird seed

A Bluetit blend of bird seed

A seed scoop

A bird feeder

boxwild bird gift box for children

The bags of bird seed are a decent size and very obviously of a good quality. The Bluetit blend has dried mealworms in it, which I am sure the birds love and are really good for them with their high protein and fat content. As the colder months set in especially it’s great to know that you’re helping to keep the birds healthy and well fed.

boxwild bird food

My boys have always loved watching birds and as soon as our own garden is in a vaguely usable state – it’s currently more of a building site – we’ll be putting lots of feeders up within site of the windows at the back of the house, so that we can sit and watch them easily.

For now though our bird feeder from the boxwild gift box is in Simon’s parents’ garden 2 doors away from us, hanging off of a bird house that they already owned.

boxwild bird feeder from gift box

The boys will be decorating and putting up the bird house from their gift box as soon as our garden is done. I love the fact that it’s a paint your own bird house, as it’s a really nice touch to get children involved and interested in looking after birds in their own garden.

If you would like to buy this Children’s Bird Gift Box, pop to the boxwild website! They also have all different gift boxes available for bird lovers and bird feed supplies as well. Excitingly they also do a gift box for Hedgehog food as well.

Oh this would be wonderful for when the Grandchildren visit. We love our birds in the garden. My favourite is the robin. Always has been since I was a little girl. It has a special place in my heart now as I have gotten older. My ex deceased FiL always used to see a robin when someone was passing over.

When he passed away, everywhere I looked this robin was there. After I left his son (the ex) when I met my 2nd husband 15 years ago, the robin appeared, as a sign of his approval. The robin appeared when we got engaged abroad when we got home. The robin appeared when my husband set the wedding date which I went to say no too then changed my mind as it was my FiL birthday date. I knew it was his blessing to us. The robin also appeared on the fence the morning we married.
