Bennetts for Babies recently contacted me to ask if I would run a Christmas competition for my blog readers to try to win a bundle of their products and I agreed straight away.
When one of my boys was small, he had horrific eczema that involved several hospital appointments and a restricted diet to avoid his triggers. It was a very stressful time, that involved a lot of sleepless nights and was awful having to see him in so much pain with the relentless itchiness and cracked skin.
On the worst nights, the only thing that got him some relief – enough to sleep was a thick layer of aqueous cream. It cooled his skin for long enough for him to drift off, and provided some protection for his skin when he did manage to scratch, plus helped to keep the dirt out of areas where he’s already broken the skin.
This is why despite me not being a ‘baby’ blogger or the company being Cornish (I love to support local businesses where possible) I still wanted to run this competition – which I’m not being paid to do by the way in case any cynics out there wondered ;)
I know what it’s like to deal with a child with skin that seems to be working against them. I haven’t ever tried this brand myself, so can’t endorse the effects of it, but I do know that different things work for different people and it’s worth a try.
The prize you’ll be sent is the Aqueous Bath Drops, Baby Bum Cream, and the Baby Aqueous Cream. Obviously all of these can be used by people without eczema as well, and on babies. I can imagine they’d all be great for those with dry sensitive skin as well, as they are gentle enough for babies so should be some of the gentlest products you can find in theory.
If you would like to try to win the prize bundle, then enter via the rafflecopter below. Good Luck!
