Review + Competition – 80 Piece Bic Colouring Set

Review and Competition – Bic Colouring Set

If your house is anything like ours, then every time there is homework to be done or a child wants to do some drawing, those five hundred pens and pencils you know you own are nowhere to be found.

Bic have recently sent me a lovely review box of stationery goodies to fix this issue, the box is a very decent size so would be nigh on impossible to lose and it is full of great pens, crayons, pencils and more. It is also in the most well organised box I have ever seen – as someone obsessed with storage boxes this had the wow factor for me.

Bic Colouring set

With eighty pieces to choose from, I’m not sure who loved this the most me or the boys. So what exactly do you get inside it?

Bic 80 Piece Set

Eighteen Tropicolors 2, which are easy to sharpen pencils made of wood-free resin. The colours are very vivid on these and they feel comfortable in your hand and the tips don’t break easily as you colour.

Eighteen Plastidecor extra clean colouring crayons. These are designed to be extra resistant, so that the don’t end up all over clothes and hands. Unlike most crayons we have used before, they are actually nice and long so that they aren’t hard to use either.

Twelve  Kid coleur ultra washable colouring felt pens, specially designed to be easy to remove from hands and most fabrics with just soap and water. These did their job well and helped to colour in some homework I was helping one of the boys with, and definitely washed off of hands easily.

Twelve Magic felt pens. These I think are the most fun part of the set, there are 10 actual colouring pens and two pens that are ink erasers. You can either use them to correct mistakes when you colour outside of the lines, or you even use them to draw on blocks of colouring. It does make a lovely visual effect.

There are also twenty colouring activity templates, basically fun things to do with an Alvin and the Chipmunks theme. I wondered if the boys would be too old for this, but actually it was very handy for a wet afternoon to give them something different to do.

You get a bonus with this set, as they have included a washable glue stick which is solvent free. It is just as well it is free from any solvents considered dangerous under european regulation, as it also smells a lot like apples and kept making me want to smell it.

Bic Colouring Set

It really is such a lovely set and the perfect gift for any child that you aren’t sure what to buy. Believe me as far as I am concerned no one can ever have enough stationery in their lives.

Anyway lucky readers, one of you has the chance to win their own 80 piece colouring set from Bic! All you need to do is to enter via the rafflecopter below. For my usual competition terms and conditions pop over here¬† A Cornish Mum’s Competition Terms and Conditions.

Good Luck!

*I was sent the colouring set above for the purpose of this review, but as always all opinions and thoughts no matter how random are my own and honest*
