Review: Cornish Sea Mist Candle, Handmade in Cornwall

I’m always happy to work with Cornish companies and individuals, and so I agreed immediately when the lovely Karen Davey asked me whether I would feature and review a candle from her new range.

Over on the Karen Davey website, there aren’t just candles but a whole range of contemporary home furnishings with a heavy touch of Cornish style.

Karen Davey Furnishings

Karen gave me a choice of which candle I would like to try out, and it was a hard choice as there are a lot of lovely sounding ones. These are the scents you can currently buy from Karen Davey;

Awaken The Senses

Blueberry and Vanilla

Champagne and Roses

Coffee Mocha

Cornish Moorland

Cornish Sea Mist

English Country Garden

Fairy Sparkles

Fireside

Fresh Linen

Lemongrass and Ginger

Lime Zest

Mediterranean Garden

Nag Champa

Peppermint and Eucalyptus

Rock Salt and Driftwood

Scents of Lavender

Seaweed and Juniper

Vanilla

Vin Blanc

Ylang Ylang

Considering my love of the sea and Cornwall in general I chose to try out Cornish Sea Mist.

The candles are luxury soy candles handmade in Cornwall. My candle came in a lovely glass jar, which I fully intend to find a use for once my candle has been used up. Karen’s candle’s are all either £8.50 or £15 like my one and the price included postage and packaging.

The candle looks lovely and in the jar it really does look like a high quality product – which it is. It would make an excellent gift for someone. I can’t speak for the scent of the other candles, but if they are anywhere near as delicious smelling as this one then they’ll be loved by all who light them.

The Cornish Sea Mist candle smells so fresh, and it is definitely my new favourite. I’d actually happily wear the scent as a perfume if I could! Thank you Karen :)

*I was sent the candle for the purpose of an honest review, and that is what I have given as always*
