Easter Treats For The Boys

The lovely people at Ollie and Leila send a box full of Easter treats to the boys recently, and this post is basically just a thank you and to show you how spoilt the boys were.

Ollie and Leila is an online shop selling gorgeous children’s furniture and accessories, including some seriously cute personalised children’s beds. I’m almost too scared too browse their site for too long as I might fall in love with too much…. or get broody ;)

One of the things that the boys were sent were personalised Easter eggs – which of course they have eaten already the little sneaks. They were from Thorntons and I have to say from the small bit I was allowed to steal, they tasted good! If you notice little bunnies in my photos, they are mini rubbers I stole off of Harley for the photos…. I might give them back.

Peronalised Easter Eggs

The boys really like their Easter jars from Not on the Highstreet that Ollie and Leila sent. The artificial ‘grass’ on top is really cool, I’m now wondering where I can get a small roll of it for blog photos! Any ideas anyone?

Easter Jars

The jars were personalised as well, as were the cute bunny mugs they were sent.

The boys really are so grateful, and spoilt of course ;) I love that my blog means they get lots of little treats, and that we get to discover new brands all the time.

Do you usually buy gifts for Easter or chocolate, or a mix of both? Apparently since I didn’t pay for these Easter eggs myself, I still owe the boys an Easter egg or twenty (not my words) for when it actually is Easter ;)

Have a great Easter school holiday everyone once they arrive at last! If you’re looking for something to do in Cornwall, pop to my what’s on guide!

Google free AstroTurf samples & it comes up with loads of small sample sizes of it :) or I’m sure you can buy small ish rolls or offcuts, home base have signs up about it.

Boys where deffinately spoilt & tut tut eating eggs early! I’m not aloud so noone else is either! Haha

Oh that is so sweet of them, what a lovely thing for a company to do. And eek, personalised children’s beds! We are about to be in the market for bunk beds and there are some seriously amazing ones around aren’t there? I adore the bunk beds with a slide on them, I’d love one for the children’s room. Ok I’ll be honest I’m off to check out Ollie and Leila. NOBODY tell my husband!

Wow, your boys are very lucky! I love those personalised Easter mugs, they’re just adorable. Plus I’m a big fan of chocolate-alternatives when it comes to Easter gifts.
I didn’t blog about my kids’ treats for Easter, but I did film a video which is up on my YouTube channel!

I want one of those jars for me!! I have bought Oscar some chocolate for Easter and for his cousins I am putting together a little gift. I don’t usually (I usually send money to their parents to decide whether to get an egg or something else) but this year we’re seeing them on Easter Sunday at Oscats birthday party so I thought I’d make the effort. #PickNMix

I love your boy’s reasoning – the treats were free so they still get an egg from you, my kind of logic! Hubby came home with an easter egg for me and a toy for our five-month old the other day – v. unexpected easter treats and super lovely :)

What a nice treat. I love Thorntons. I usually make up a basket from the Easter bunny (my daughter is 5) with a few treats in, some chocolate but usually a couple of non choccy bits like a book and craft things. Those jars from NOTHS are lovely! Linking up to #picknmix for the first time x

What great gifts. Blogging does bring some lovely treats. I liked the jars with the artificial grass the best. We have not gone down the chocolate route this year. Instead we have got the boys a figure for their computer games each.

Wow, I love the grass jar lids, not sure where you get some, maybe a DIY place could cut you some off a roll?!? If you find out let me know please :) loving this post, personalised eggs and mugs and too cool! Thanks for sharing your goodies. as a kid i normally got a nice book for Easter plus some chocolate, and of course an egg hunt so I’m planning to carry on these traditions! #PicknMix

Super cute gifts :) I love anything personalised. It makes it just that bit more specialised #PicknMix

Aw lovely. Little man is still too young to understand about Easter and chocolate so yes he will be having a small Easter egg, but he won’t be fighting to eat it for breakfast…yet #picknmix

  • Becky, Cuddle Fairy

The eggs are so lovely personalized like that! Our kids get some little chocolates. Usually something healthy & a little toy. They leave baskets out for the bunny to fill. ;) Sometimes the bunny hides small chocolates around the house for them to find! Have a wonderful Easter! #picknmix x
