Father’s Day With British Tea Lovers

I was recently asked to do a review by British Tea Lovers of a Father’s Day gift. I said yes, as Si is a big tea drinker as I’ve previously mentioned on here! Now don’t get me wrong, I also enjoy a nice cup of tea, but I can survive the day without one if I need to.

Any work Si does to the inside or outside of the house usually results in him using it as a good excuse to turn me into his tea lady for the day. Apparently cups of tea make him work better, especially if they are made by someone else.

I run out of hiding places in the house, so I usually give in and make him more tea than I drink in a week, but in fairness he does work hard and I do have a gorgeous kitchen and bathroom because of his tea fuel!

Here is the very cute tin that British Tea Lovers sent me.

Father's Day Tea

I’m a bit of a novice when it comes to loose leaf tea, but it was surprisingly easy to make a nice cuppa from and we both really enjoyed the taste of the tea, plus it smelt delicious. It’s Ceylon Black Tea in the tin, for those of you who know a bit more about tea than I do. I just know I liked it.

The tin does say ‘For a Special Dad’ on it, but since Si does the job of one that was okay, and a lovely touch for the Dads that receive it. Apparently the tin is the perfect size to keep screws in inside his new shed – men always turning something pretty into something practical! He is as tool mad as he is tea mad though, so not surprising.

I really think this tin would make a lovely and unique present for Father’s Day for tea lovers, something a little bit different than the usual socks and chocs!

If you would like to buy one of these for your own Dad or partner or random Dad that deserves a treat, then you can visit the British Tea Lovers’ website¬†and use the special discount code DAD183 to claim a 10% discount off your purchases.

If you register/sign up to their website, they will also email you an extra discount code for another 10% off that you can use (up to two coupons per order).¬†It isn’t just Father’s Day tea gifts they do either, they have options for all sorts of occasions.

*I was sent the product for free, but as always my reviews are honest – don’t believe me? Check out this one as an example*

I’m a bit of a tea addict too. I’m really into the Waitrose Marquis Grey at the moment. It’s so unusual I get a bit twitchy when we run out! Great review, I love the tin. I also love loose tea, a great excuse to dig out my gorgeous tea pot!xx

There is something so much better about tea from a teapot isn’t there?! Despite being 32 it makes me feel ‘grown up’ pouring a cup out ha

It’s always coffee for me in the am to wake me up and then tea the rest of the day else I go a little caffeine crazy!
