As usual I am linking up with Maria over at Suburban Mum for her Our Favourite Five blog link up, with my own monthly ‘Five’ post which is our favourite five through the door.
Sometimes this is things I have bought myself, things we have been sent for review or gifts etc etc, basically if it enters my home and I love it, then it is likely to get a mention here.
The boys new wetsuits
We have reviewed wetsuits from Konfidence this month, which the boys loved. It was a good excuse to fit in another beach day.
Pink ‘n’ Whites
Caxton Pink ‘n’ Whites are my new favourite treat. Not only do they taste amazing, but for those of you on Slimming World like me, they are only 2 and a half syns each!
Annoyingly though, Si seeing me add the photo to my blog post has discovered my secret stash and I suspect I will have to share….. unless I find a new hiding spot…
Bear cereals and Bear Claws
We were recently sent some Bear Alpha Bites cereals and Bear Claws to try. The boys loved the cereal and the claws, I’ve developed a bit of a taste for the claws myself. They are little pieces of dried fruit and vegetables, all of which are in the shape of parts of the monsters on the front of the box.
I can see children loving the shapes, but really the taste is for anyone plus they count as one of your 5 a day.
Goosebumps box of goodies
Myself and the boys took part in a Twitter party at the weekend, all centred around the new Goosebumps film and DVD. They sent us a brilliant box full of Goosebumps goodies for the boys to enjoy, which was a lovely surprise as I only really expected a DVD and maybe one book.
It is very rare that I treat myself, but with us going to Butlins (that’s where we are right now as this post goes live) I decided I needed a new swimming costume as I discovered on a water slide a little while ago that my own bikini wasn’t really up to the job of anything more strenuous than a small paddle.
Luckily I didn’t embarrass myself too much, but it was a close run thing. I not only bought a gorgeous new swimming costume, but also two new summery tops that I love. New clothes really do give you a little confidence boost. Also after my recent weight loss, the swimming costume shopping and trying on wasn’t as depressing as I expected.
