February 2017 Things I Have Liked and Loved

February 2017 has been such a great month for me and it was so easy to choose things for my usual monthly things I have liked and loved post.

The Robin at The Lost Gardens of Heligan.

I went for lunch with Simon’s Mum this month at The Lost Gardens of Heligan. Not only was it an absolutely beautiful sunny day, but when we actually got around to lunch after our long walk, we had company.

This gorgeous little Robin hopped around on our table for ages and perched on a seat waiting for us to give him crumbs and singing at us whenever we didn’t. He was so cute and it was amazing seeing him (or her I have no idea) so close up for so long.

I also loved being at Heligan again as it is such a beautiful place and Simon’s Mum is always good company. Even when I’m shaking the rope bridge to scare her a little bit …

The new Carex Lovehearts handwash.

I was sent some of this handwash by Carex to include in this post ย if I liked it. I actually love it, I’ve been a fan of the fun edition handwashes for a long time. Cola bottles, strawberry laces and bubblegum scented handwashes are the norm in this house. There is something so nice about having tasty smelling hands and this one actually does smell like lovehearts.

I’m back to looking like a weirdo sniffing my hands again and I don’t even care.

Working with Degustabox.

I have just started working with Degustabox this month and I love it. It’s like the adult food version of a lucky dip and I love that you never have a clue what will be in your box. The 30% less sugar Fruit-tells in my first Degustabox were delicious and I’m in the midst of writing up my second box post.

Butlins!

As part of my role as Butlins blog Ambassador, we had a stay at Butlin’s Minehead this month and it was brilliant. We had friends staying close to us including Lisa from The Love of A Captain, which made it even more fun.

Our last stay at Minehead was good mostly, but this really was just so much more relaxed – apart from the crazy two-year old, but we love that sort of crazy.ย The Lakeside accommodation was just stunning and I’ll have my post live very soon.

Family Time.

Not taking my laptop to Butlins and hardly doing any social media whilst I was there, was actually lovely. I spend so much time online and having a break for family time was just what was needed.

I’m planning to try to regulate the hours that I work more, so I have a lot more time with my little family when I’m not distracted – I suspect Si will be reading this and saying ‘I’ll believe it when I see it’ ha. As much as I want to do it for family time though, it is also for me as I need to switch of more often.

If you want to see what I loved in January pop to my January liked and loved post. How was your February?
