Fireworks in Cornwall 2018

 

Here is a pretty huge list of fireworks displays and events in Cornwall for 2018. I’ll be adding to it too, so keep checking back. We love fireworks in our house!

Wednesday 24th October

 

Flambards Helston Fireworks – Flambards Helston, TR13 0QA

Live performance at 6:30pm from the UK’s Official Number 1 Robbie Williams Tribute Band. Enjoy a full day out at Flambards including a spooky trail in the Victorian Village, followed by fireworks in the evening. Rides & Attractions close 30/60 minutes before firework display at 7:30pm. More Info

 

Thursday 25th October

 

Retallack Resort & Spa Fireworks Display – Winnards Perch TR9 6DE 

An evening of entertainment with fireworks, live music and face painting, as well as lots of fun activities for the Kids from 3-6pm at the Watersports Lake at Retallack. Some food and drink available from 3pm, fireworks at 7pm.

Due to the huge number of visitors last year, this year they are ticketing the event at £5 per car with limited capacity. Please call 01637 882510 to buy your ticket.

 

Friday 26th October

 

The Seahorse Centre Charity fireworks display in support of Cornwall Air Ambulance  – Pentewan St Austell

The event will take place from 7pm with the admission price of £2.50 per adult and £1.00 per child (admission price includes parking) with proceeds going to Cornwall Air Ambulance. Food, Entertainment and Refreshments will be available from the Seahorse Club throughout the night. More Info: Pentewan Sands


The Cornwall Hotel & Spa Charity Fireworks Display in support of Childrens Hospice Southwest – St Austell

Fireworks display supporting the Children’s Hospice Southwest. Pumpkin carving from 4pm, prize for the best pumpkin and for the best dressed Halloween boy or girl. BBQ food and drink available to buy. FREE event but bring money to donate to the charity please. Display at 7pm. More Info: Facebook Events Page

 

Saturday 27th October

 

St Dennis Working Men’s Club Car Park Fireworks Display and more – St Dennis 

Kids rides, candy floss, hot drinks & food. Gates open from 6pm. Display from 7:30pm. Top bar open from 6pm, with disco during & after the display. Live music in their bottom bar from 9pm. Adults £4 Under 16s free. More Info: Facebook Event Page


Heron Inn Malpas Fireworks – Trenhaile Terrace, TR1 1SL Truro

Halloween themed Fireworks display with the steel barge positioned on the water opposite the pub. Click the ‘more info’ link above for important info about parking, which is very limited and timings. Food and more. More Info


Menheniot Fireworks Display – Menheniot Cricket Field

Display to raise funds for the Primary School. Gates open at 5:45pm, display at around 7pm. BBQ provided by Menheniot Playgroup and a pint or two of cider/bitter/larger or a glass of wine from the bar. Hot drinks and sweet treats too.

 

Friday 2nd November

 

Launceston Coronation Park Fireworks – Coronation Park, PL15 9DQ Launceston.

Launceston’s professional fireworks display returns to Coronation Park. The beacon will be lit at 7pm, with fireworks starting at 7.15pm. Arrive early to ensure entry. The top gates will be shut at 6.45pm in order to safely prepare the display and anyone arriving after this time will need to come to the bottom gates by the car park.

Tickets are £5 for adults and £2.50 for children. Save yourself some money by purchasing a family ticket in advance from Launceston Tourist Information Centre in the White Hart Arcade. It costs £12.50 and admits two adults and up to three children.


The Waymaker Curry and Fireworks Night – The Waymarker, Gweek-Penryn Rd, TR11 5QD Falmouth.

Fireworks and curry night event commencing at 6.30pm. To check the menu and more details see the Facebook events page.


St Keverne Charity Fireworks – Three Tuns Cornwall, The Square, TR12 6NA Saint Keverne

Fireworks at the Three Tuns in aid of St Keverne Pre-school. Barbecue running from 6pm with burgers and hot dogs, the bonfire will be lit at 6.30pm and the fireworks let off at around 7pm. Food also available inside before and afterwards. There will also be a number of local craft and food stalls. Entrance fee £3 for adults and £1 for children, with under fives free.


Bude RFC – Bencoolen Meadow, Bude EX23 8QG

Bonfire, fireworks, bar and BBQ. Bonfire will be lit at 6.30pm and fireworks start at 7pm. Adults £5 Kids £3 Under 3’s are FREE.

 

Saturday 3rd November

 

WAX Watergate Bay Fireworks Display – Watergate Bay TR8 4AB 

Non-profit community event, hosted by WAX. There will be collections for local organisations, raffles, BMX demonstrations, music and stands selling hot drinks & food. Car parking is available in both of Watergate Bay’s large car parks and extra may be provided too. More Info: Facebook Event Page


Polperro Fireworks Display – Polperro Harbour

Weather permitting, the annual Polperro Firework display will take place on Peak Rock on Polperro Harbour. More info.


Penzance Town Fireworks – Alexandra Place

The annual Penzance Fireworks Extravaganza with hot food and live music from Penzamba inside the football ground.
Organised by the Rotary Club of Penzance. Gates open 6pm – Display starts 7pm. Just £3 for adults and £1 for children. More info.


Hayle Cricket Club Fireworks – Riviere Towans,, TR27 4DD

Fireworks, childrens rides and family entertainment, Sweet and Savoury Food Stalls, Bar and Music. Gates open at 5:30pm. Fireworks Extravaganza starts 7:15pm Tickets and more info.


St Petroc’s School Fireworks Display – 40, Ocean View Rd, EX23 8NJ Bude

Family friendly fireworks display with BBQ and bar – burgers, hot dogs, toffee apples etc. Games and activities, face painting. Tickets on the gate – Adults £3 Children £2 More Info.


St Erme Fireworks – St Erme Community Centre, Castle Field, TR4 9BD Truro

Gates Open at 6.00pm, Food Tent and Bar, £4 per adult £1 per child. Facebook Event Page.


Perranporth Rugby Club Fireworks – Ponsmere Valley, Budnic Hill, Perranporth TR6 0DB

Donation entry before or after the event, see their website for More Info. Hot drinks, burgers & other beverages. The clubhouse will be open too.


The London Inn St Neot Fireworks – The London Inn, School Hill St Neot, PL14 6NG Liskeard.

Warleggan Young Farmers charity fireworks night. Food from 6pm Onwards. Fireworks to set off at 7.30pm. Hog Roast and BBQ available. All funds raised will go towards the Clubs Chosen charities and Club Funds


Cubert Fireworks – Cubert Village Hall, High Lanes, TR8 5HA

Annual firework display for Cubert. Arrive at 6.30pm for Fireworks at 7pm. Bar and Food available, Kids games and live Music for after the fireworks.


Looe Firework show – Tencreek Holiday Park

First fireworks set off at 7.30pm. Adults £5.00 Kids under 16 FREE. Tickets available at Tencreek Holiday Park, Ellie’s Haven shop West Looe and Looe Lifeboat station. Family entertainment in Castaways! Meet Deano the Dolphin & Sparky the Sharky at Kids Funtime after the fireworks. Supporting RNLI & Ellies Haven. Facebook event for more info.

 

Sunday 4th November

 

Ruan Minor Fireworks Display – Grade Ruan Recreation, Helston.

Fireworks, food, drink, entertainment, bbq and stalls. Gate open at 5pm fireworks at 7pm. Facebook events page.

 

Monday 5th November

 

Tremorvah Fireworks Truro – 30 Boscawen Street, TR1 2QQ

Annual bonfire & fireworks display with glow sticks, sparklers, hot food & refreshments. More Info.


Tywardreath School Fireworks – Southpark Road, PL24 2PT

Fireworks Display will start at 7pm, gates to School will be open from 5:30 – 6:30pm for entrance. BBQ, drinks, sweets and glow sticks available. Tickets £4.50 for adults, £3.50 for children, £12 Family. Tickets available SOON through School Office or in the playground at pick-up. More Info.


Heartlands Pool FireworksHeartlands Robinson’s Shaft Dudnance Lane, Pool,, TR15 3QY

BONFIRE AND FIREWORKS NIGHT AT HEARTLANDS – See the Facebook page for important information and times.


Port Eliot Firework Display – Port Eliot House and Gardens PL12 5ND

6.30pm, fireworks, music and refreshments. Tickets are on sale from the Estate Office every Tuesday and Thursday 9am – midday, and Saturday and Sunday 1pm – 3pm. More info.


Chacewater Fireworks – Chacewater Village Hall, Church Hill, TR4 8PZ Chacewater

Gates open at 6pm, bonfire lit at 6:30pm, fireworks at 7:30pm. Food and drinks options plus some vegan options too.


Miners Arms Fireworks and Bonfire – The Miners Arms, Mithian,, TR5 0QF Truro

Annual bonfire and firework evening with Mulled Wine, Cider, BBQ, Soup, Fireworks and Bonfire. Donation entry, free parking – follow the parking stewards! Facebook events page.


Liskeard Lions Fireworks – Liskeard Rugby Training Pitch

Gates open at 6.15pm, event commences at 7.00pm. Entry £4 per adult & £1 per child – Family ticket for two adults and 3 children is £10. Catering will be provided by the Lions Club of Liskeard Catering van.


Bodmin Fireworks – Priory Park Bodmin

Tickets are now available at to buy at the following oulets Morrisons, Stan Mays,Bunts, Martin & Budge Sproulls solicitors, Celtic Produce [Beacon veg shop], Bodmin Football Club, Mid Cornwall Brokers Lanivet,and at Bricknalls Wadebridge. Price of pre bought tickets are Adults [over 16 yrs old] £4 Child [ 5 to 16 years old ] £2 under 5 years s free of charge. If Bought on the night at the gate Adults £5 child £3 under 5s free of charg No Sparklers. Keep an eye on their Facebook Page for up to date info including the time.


Falmouth Cricket Club Fireworks – Falmouth Cricket Club, Trescobeas Rd, Falmouth TR11 4JB

The biggest firework display in Cornwall, which is organised by Falmouth Community Fire Station, will be set to music provided by Pirate FM with fire eaters to entertain you before the main event. Hot and cold refreshments will be available. Entrance Prices: £4 adult | £2 child. All children must be accompanied by adult. Gates open at 6pm and the firework display will start at 7pm prompt. This event does get very busy, so I’d recommend arriving early. More info on Falmouth website.

 

Friday 9th November

 

Brannel School Fireworks Spectacular – St Stephen PL26 7RN

Brannel School presents an evening of bonfire and fireworks. The evening, kindly supported by St Stephen Parish Council, will have inflatables games, live performances, BBQ, refreshments and a guy competition before the spectacular fireworks display.

Saturday 10th November

 

St Just Fireworks – St Just RFC Camping Site, Tregeseal Valley, TR19 7PF 

Subject to confirmation. Join in and support the club in there annual display. Keep an eye on the Facebook event page to confirm it is happening and timings.
