Five Favourite Blog Posts for June 2017

I read a lot of blog posts and each month I choose five from other bloggers that I have read and think are brilliant. There are so many fantastic writers out there.

So here in no particular order are five blog posts from other bloggers that I loved this month.

Five Favourite Blog posts

Extraordinary Chaos

I love Sarah’s post Why Blogtacular 2017 Totally Blew My Mind, and A Few Blogging Lessons Learnt! I was nodding as I read it, especially the bit about being her own niche and not needing to stick to a niche or label what she writes. To quote Sarah –

“I am unique, everyone is unique and we should embrace that”

Life According to Mrs Shilts

I really enjoyed reading Emma’s post – Our Disneyland Paris Adventure. She managed to capture so many gorgeous photographs that really show off the magic of the place.

I am a complete wimp when it comes to cold water and haven’t been for a swim in the Cornish sea for a very long time. Reading about the lovely Julia’s dip in a Lido – A summer solstice swim in Ilkey Lido – makes it sound so much more tempting though and refreshing. Plus how gorgeous is that Lido?! Maybe I’ll brave the sea this year at some point.

Dot Makes 4

Meeting up with friends: A big milestone – I love this post. Laura’s son Mikey is the same age as my eldest and like my eldest has health concerns. Unlike my eldest with his Type 1 Diabetes, Mikey has to deal with food allergies and like myself this means Laura has to worry more when Mikey wants to do things independently.

I love reading about Laura giving Mikey freedom, it’s a hard thing to do when you worry about them so much, but so important to them as they get older.

Last but not least…

Peter Rabbit First Birthday Cake Smash – This one from Clare for me is all about the cute photos! The little rabbit outfit … honestly so ridiculously cute! It almost makes me broody ha!
