You may have noticed that I have a lovely new badge in the sidebar of my blog, this is because I am now an official magazine.co.uk blogger.
This means that I will be doing some writing on their blog, I will be receiving some magazines to write about, review and enjoy from them over the next year.
The three magazines that I have chosen are Match of The Day, BBC Good Food and Crafts Beautiful.
Match of the Day was my choice for the boys, as they are both a bit football mad at the moment, and love finding out more about the players.
I chose BBC Good Food, because although saying on here previously that you will never see a cooking post on here from me because I’m hopeless at it, I have decided that at the ripe old age of 32, it’s time I learnt how to cook more than the few meals I can manage at the moment.
The Crafts Beautiful magazine I chose, because I want to try some new things and rediscover my crafty (not like that!) self. I can remember as a 7-year-old using a hacksaw to make my own dolls house furniture with my Mum, who is a little crafts mad.
I’ve always enjoyed doing craft stuff with the boys as well, but in recent years they have gotten to an age where they don’t find crafts so much fun. With this magazine, I can have a go at some more grown up crafts, and blog about how I get on with them….or how badly it all goes!
Although I will be sent the magazines for free, my review of them and anything I write about them will be my own words and my own thoughts, as I’m an honest blogger and that’s the way it’s going to stay. If you’d like to see an example of my honesty, then check out my very honest review of an audio book from earlier this year.
If you want to check out what other magazines are available at magazine.co.uk then click on the badge on my site either above or in my sidebar, please be aware I am an affiliate and do receive a small affiliate payment for any subscriptions signed up for through my links, so if you aren’t happy with that, then visit the site without clicking my link.
