Liked and Loved for December 2016

Hard to believe that not only is December almost over, but that it is also almost a whole new year. I can not wait to see what 2017 brings. For now though, here is my monthly liked and loved post. This time for December 2016.

The Wardrobes Being Finished!

Si has retained his DIY genius title and has built for our bedroom the most beautiful solid wood inbuilt wardrobes. Once we have finished decorating our bedroom I will show you properly how it all looks, but for now here is a sneaky peak.

Trelissick at Christmas

I went for lunch with one of my sisters at the National Trust’s Trelissick this month. It was my first visit there, but definitely not my last. What a stunningly beautiful place, plus they really know how to do Christmas decorations!

My Blog

Okay so I always like and love this one! This month though it has hit me just how many opportunities my blog has given me. My life has changed so much in the almost two years since I started my blog. When I started it, I had no idea that people got paid in any way for blogging, or that blogging could lead to other ways to earn money.

This month I have been watching my youngest swim with his school, whilst sat in the swimming pool cafe drinking hot chocolate and working at the same time. I work hard, but I also feel very lucky that I can work anywhere and not miss out on anything with them.

Lovely Brands

I have worked with so many wonderful brands and PRs in the last two years. I’ve even had Christmas cards off of a few and it is so lovely to feel appreciated like that. One of my favourite brands to work with Lily Charmed, sent me a lovely card and Christmas tree chocolates this month. I love their jewellery and they really are so wonderful to work with.

Surprise post - Christmas

The most obvious one of all to add, but I had to really. I love Christmas, all the excitement of the build up and then seeing the boys’ faces as they open their presents. Special family time and a ridiculous amount of good food – diet starts again in January!

It has also been so nice to have lots of family time and just relax. Though I could have lived without my ten year old beating me at Trivial Pursuit. In my defence, we do play the version where there are a different set of adult and children’s questions. I would have definitely won if I had the children’s questions … honestly.

What was great about your December?
