Liked and Loved January 2017

January is always a bit of an odd month. In some ways exciting as there is a brand new year of possibilities ahead, but also it can be a bit of a quiet month after the excitement of Christmas. I’ve still managed to find some things that I have liked and loved for January 2017 though.

Sunny beautiful Cornwall

I’m not exactly quiet about my love for Cornwall at any time, but this last week with the sun shining it has been especially beautiful. I’ve loved getting outside again and seeing the back of all the grey skies for a change. Today it is tipping it down, but it was lovely whilst it lasted.

Absolute cuteness on YouTube

This video from YouTube popped up on my Facebook feed recently and honestly could this be any more cute? Just so lovely and the little girl is adorable.

Once Upon A Time

I started watching this on Netflix this month and I am completely hooked. It’s one of those series where you really can’t guess what on earth is going to happen next. It’s all about fairy tale characters and other make believe characters who are in our world due to a curse, but have to all remember who they are.

Honestly so random, but addictive. I’ve recently watched an episode recently with Elsa and Anna from Frozen in. Has anyone else watched it?

New curtains

I finally chose some curtains for our dining room and I love them. It’s just finished the room off and made it seem a lot cosier.

Our new mattress

I was sent an Emma mattress to review recently and it is so comfortable. It has made our bed a little bit too cosy and welcoming though, as I am oversleeping more than usual. Though I don’t think a lot of late nights have helped that either.

Losing weight

It is happening very slowly, but I am being good eating a whole lot better and exercising a bit more. I’m down 4 lbs since I started trying to lose weight and I already feel a lot better for it.

What was great about your January?

We used to watch Once Upon a Time too, Stevie, it’s great! Totally different from the type of things we usually watch:)

I’m almost on the last series already! I love that with Netflix you can watch a whole series of a show without having to wait and watch old ones :)

It’s a bit of a mad programme, but that’s what makes it so good :) I’ve just started the last series now.

Thanks hon, I love them and the weightloss is something I am totally rubbish at despite this small victory ;) but I can’t imagine you having to lose weight at all anyway :)

Ooh your house is looking fabulous, love the curtains and table. Glad you decided to ditch the table cloth too ;) and well done on losing weight, it’s so tough and you’re doing brilliantly.
