Here’s my usual monthly list of what I have liked and loved, this time for November 2017 – eek nearly Christmas!
Universal Orlando Resort
Okay this is a teeny bit of a cheat as it was in October that we went but, we cam home after my last liked and loved post. We had the most amazing holiday, which included a VIP tour and it was all honestly just perfect. I want to go back already, I’m missing the thrill of being upside down on looping rollercoasters! Oh and the sunshine and not having to cook.
Date Night at the Land’s End Hotel
Earlier this month I took Si on a ‘date night’ to the Land’s End Hotel child free. We had wanted to go there for years, so I decided to treat Si as a late birthday present. Our room was gorgeous and this was our view from our bedroom window. I could see the sea from our bed, which ticked something off of my Forty before 40 list too! Which reminds me I need to update it soon, as going to the USA was on there too!
I did manage to injure myself in the middle of the night with my usual level of clumsiness but, you can read more about that in my post when I write it at some point soon. Minus the injury it was such a lovely relaxed evening with Gin and then breakfast in bed!
Robinsons Fruit Creations
Robinsons sent me a bottle of one of their squashes from their new range to include in this post if I liked it – well I obviously did. The Fruit Creations with Barley – Crisp Apple and Elderflower is so refreshing and like a sweet apple juice, but with no added sugar.
The new squashes and cordials from Robinsons have been created for grown-ups. Robinsons is growing up!
Running Lots of Competitions
I’ve said this before in one of these posts, but I really do love running giveaways on my site. Getting to make someone’s day by sending them an email saying they’re won a prize is such a lovely feeling. My Christmas Shopping Giveaways have been ridiculously popular too.
Going away for a week to Orlando meant lots of time together and this month I have tried to take a bit of time off and not be behind the laptop 24/7 more. Admittedly this has mostly led to me and Si taking evening naps instead ha – we are obviously getting old, but it’s just been so nice to switch off a bit more.
O’Keeffe’s Skin Repair and Lip Repair products
O’Keeffe’s sent me a bottle of their Skin Repair body lotion recently to try out which is for dry and itchy skin. It has been amazing at sorting out my dry ‘winter’ legs and feet. I love this stuff and the two lip repair lip balms have been perfect for one of the boys who has a bad habit of licking his lips. He’d made them really sore and dry, as well as the skin around his mouth and the lip balms really helped.
You can buy all of them in Boots and the lip balms are also in Superdrug too.
I know that I’m forgetting something but, I will leave it there and add it in if my sieve of a brain remembers what else I wanted to add. This last month has been pretty fantastic I must say, I hope yours has been good too?
