Monthly Bucket List: December

I missed doing my November Monthly Bucket list because we had just gotten back from the USA and things were slightly manic. Here’s my December 2017 Monthly Bucket List which I link up with Beth at Twinderelmo each month.

A little bit late, but here is how I got on with my goals for October 2017 and also my list of goals for December 2017.

How I got on with my October 2017 Goals

Reach 3000 likes on Facebook

Goal achieved, I am currently on 3160 Facebook likes! I find Facebook really hard work, so I’m thrilled about this.

Get to Southampton and back safely

I managed this too, it was the furthest/longest that I have ever driven on my own and I was absolutely exhausted both ways. However it was a lot of fun to mooch around an actual cruise ship for the day!

Schedule all of my November giveaways

I failed to schedule them, as the time when I was going to schedule turned out to be the week we ended up in the USA instead! However, I did enough to make sure it wasn’t a panic straight away when we got home and then I worked until late pretty much every night for 10 ish days to get them all done and live. I count this as a success though as they all went live when they were supposed to.

Relax on our break away

Our break away was supposed to be a long weekend trip to Devon but, due to a last-minute holiday to Universal Orlando Resort with Virgin Holidays, it actually ended up being a holiday to the USA!

Definitely not relaxing ha, we walked for miles and went on some pretty crazy rollercoasters, but oh my word it was just the best holiday ever. We stayed at the Cabana Bay Beach Resort on site and it really couldn’t have been better – I need to go again!

Sort and declutter the house

This hasn’t been completed but, I have gotten so much sorted in recent weeks, especially in our lounge which I wanted ready for the Christmas tree etc. The tree is up and the house is looking pretty good so far.

My goals for December 2017

Give the boys a brilliant Christmas – I kind of have to add this ha!

Sell lots of bits on eBay and selling groups online – I’m mid the Christmas slump where my credit card needs paying and things have gone quiet on the work front, so some extra money would be really handy right now.

Finish Christmas shopping asap – Before I started blogging, back when I had a lot more free time, I was always finished with my Crimbo shopping in November latest. This year I still have a lot to buy and it’s December already. I want to get the rest of the shopping done asap so I can relax a bit this month.

Write a plan for 2018 – I have a few ideas of ways to make extra money next year and some additions I want to make to the blog, top-secret ha, but I need to get planning and organising.

Pay off my credit card – I usually don’t use my credit card at all, but with late payers of invoices and the unexpected spending money needed for America, I had to resort to using it. It’s usually only there for emergencies and I want to pay it off asap and get back to using it just for that. Being in debt makes me feel a bit on edge. Hopefully the selling part on my list will help.

Go to a Christmas Fair – I’ve been to a small one already but, I want to make sure that I go to another one soon as I love how happy and festive they are. Plus I love being able to buy home-made goods and support small local businesses and individuals.

Since this month includes Christmas and I am going to be taking plenty of time off where possible, I will leave it at that for my goals.
