October 2017 already and time for my monthly bucket list, which I write and link up with the lovely Beth at Twinderelmo each month.
This year has flown by and has been a lot of fun already and eek now I’m getting excited for Christmas too! So here goes, here is how I got on with my goals for September 2017 and my list of goals for October 2017.
How I got on with my September 2017 Goals
Write about the boys’ room makeovers
Not yet, but I have the dates written into my diary for when I want them to go live and I’ve started to take the photographs ready. So not a complete failure.
Lose more weight
Utter failure, with BlogOn and my complete lack of willpower recently I’ve not lost any more weight, but I also haven’t put any on so at least there’s that!
Have a brilliant time at Blogon
I had such a fantastic time at BlogOn, it was so much better than I was expecting and I was expecting it to be good. Donna was amazing driving me part of the way and organising our room, which all made it so much easier for me to go. I got to meet so many bloggers that I hadn’t before and catch up with some that I have.
The brands were all so lovely and it was so nice to meet them all and chat. The goody bags were pretty epic and I just came home feeling so inspired and happy. Plus very tired ha, it was a very long day especially with getting back to Cornwall as well. I think next year I’ll be flying to make it a bit quicker. I definitely want to go again.
Do a car boot
I didn’t actually get to do this, but instead I’ve started selling bits on Facebook in a buy and sell group and I’ve actually received more money than I think I would have at a car boot. Without having to stand out in the cold for ages, so I think Facebook selling is the way to go in future!
Reach 3000 likes on Facebook
I was on 2865 likes, I’m currently on 2884 likes so yep bit of a fail ha! Facebook is such a slow grower though, I’m just pleased it’s heading in the right direction.
My goals for October 2017
Reach 3000 likes on Facebook – I’m going to concentrate on Facebook a lot more this month.
Get to Southampton and back safely – I’m headed to Blog camp on board an actual cruise ship this week and I am really looking forward to it. However, it is the furthest I have ever driven and I won’t deny being a little nervous!
Schedule all of my November giveaways – I’m in the midst of organising lots of Christmas themed giveaways for November and it’s quite a lot of work. I want to get them all organised ready, to make my November slightly less stressful.
Relax on our break away – We’re off to stay in a lodge in Devon at the end of October and I can’t wait. We’ve chosen somewhere with fishing for the boys and Si – I’ll have a go too. There’s also a hot tub and no Wi-Fi, so I won’t be able to work. I am really looking forward to a complete rest and plenty of family time.
Sort and declutter the house – Our house really needs a good declutter and I’ve already started it with some Facebook selling and sorting things out for charity shops. My plan is to have a major clear out and tidy up in time for Christmas.
That’s it, all of my goals for October 2017. I’ve kept it to a minimum with so much work to do this month.
