My Christmas Holiday Plans

I can’t quite believe that it’s Christmas Eve tomorrow! This year has flown by and has been pretty hectic, so I am so happy that we’re now on school Christmas holidays!

My Christmas Holiday Plans

Everyone always seems to be slightly manic and busy fitting in a huge amount of things in the Christmas holidays. Some people on my friends lists on social media seem to have been to see at least 5 Santas and I’m tired just seeing everything that they’re getting up to. My Christmas holiday plans are a little bit different, just like most years our Christmas holiday is going to be a very lazy one.

Our Christmas tree and tv

I’ve put my out of office message onto my email account and I am pretty much switching off completely – apart from doing anything I want to do for my blog rather than have to do. I intend to spend quite a bit of time eating festive food with my family, playing board games and watching films. NOWTV (who have gifted me passes this year) have lots of new films coming over the next week including Peter Rabbit, which I really want to see.

Minnie Mouse PJs from Next

I am also planning to be in my pyjamas a lot, especially these gorgeous Minnie Mouse pyjamas that Next sent me recently! I am a huge Disney fan and I love both Minnie and Mickey Mouse. Mickey Mouse actually celebrated his 90th anniversary this year, so it is pretty amazing really just how popular he still is! If you search for the term ‘mouse’ on the Next website, you can see all the gorgeous Mickey and Minnie Mouse themed items on their site – perfect for spending any Christmas money on after Tuesday!

I am definitely planning to try and go to watch the new Aquaman film over the holidays, I love superhero films and have been looking forward to watching this one for ages! My youngest watched it this weekend with friends and said it was ‘epic’, so I can’t wait.

The only other thing apart from stuffing my face on lots of yummy food (New Year diet coming up ha…) that I’m planning to do, is to con/convince/cajole Simon into going for a couple of walks with me. I do love to hibernate, but a bit of fresh air keeps the cabin fever at bay too.

Have you got much time off for Christmas and what are your plans if so?
