Every month I do my list of things that I have liked and loved that month and here is my list for February 2018! I hope you’ve had a brilliant February.
Spending time with friends
Most of my blogger friends seem to live miles and miles away, so it is always a novelty and a pleasure when I get to be in the same place as one of them at the same time. Donna was in Cornwall over half term and we had a lovely day out at The Lost Gardens of Heligan. Her children loved playing in the mud in their wellies, which took me back and made me a bit nostalgic to when the boys were dinky.
The Lost Gardens of Heligan
As I mentioned I went to the Lost Gardens with Donna and loved it as always. It really is one of my favourite places and I love having a locals’ pass to go there whenever I like. It’s a great place for practising my photography skills too.
The Headland Spa
My review post about my BIOTEC facial at The Headland Spa at The Headland Hotel in Newquay will be going live tomorrow. It was my first proper facial, as I had only tried a taster one before and oh my word it was amazing. My skin has never been so soft and it did my face the world of good. Check back tomorrow to read more about it!
Spending time with Si
As much as I love the boys, it is so nice now that they’re old enough to leave at home occasionally so that Si and I can pop out for lunch or a walk on the beach even without having to drag the boys out with us when they don’t want to go. There are definite benefits to older children I must say.
My New Bag
How amazing is my new yellow bag?! I was gifted it by the fabulous Chapel Street Boutique here in Cornwall last week, as a thank you for running a giveaway for them. The Chapel Street Boutique giveaway is open to anyone in the UK and is to celebrate the opening of their online shop.
Pirate’s Quest in Newquay
We were invited this month to review the Pirate’s Quest in Newquay and the boys and their friend loved it. It was a lot of fun and I loved seeing how much they enjoyed it. It’s always nice to try something a little bit different.
It didn’t last long at all, but it’s usually so rare to see any snow in my part of Cornwall that it was lovely to see. Amazingly we’re meant to get more later this week. The boys have their hopes set on a snow day off of school, so keep your fingers crossed for us!
What was great about your February? A lot I hope!
