Another new addition to the Photos of Cornwall section of my site! This section always makes me smile and today the Photos of Cornwall interview is with Deb Sharratt of the My Boys Club blog.
What brought you to Cornwall – if you don’t live here?
I don’t live in Cornwall but when I was a teenager I spent a number of years living in the neighbouring county of Devon. Some of my family still live in Devon so we get the chance to travel to the South West from time to time. These photos are from the very first time I took my hubby to Cornwall – he loved it!
Where is your favourite place in Cornwall?
Both the Minack Theatre in Porthcurno & Tintagel come really close but for me, it’s the Lizard Point – so remote, rugged and just beautiful
What camera/mobile phone do you usually use for your photos?
These photos were all taken on film but now I’m far more likely to be using my iPhone or digital SLR.
If you could take a photograph of anyone or anywhere in the world, where or who would you choose?
Such a hard question. I’ve been lucky to take pictures of some of the most amazing places in the world including Rio, Easter Island, South Africa, California but I would love to photograph the Northern Lights.
Describe Cornwall in a maximum of three words:
Probably how I described the Lizard! Remote, rugged and beautiful.
Pasty or Cream tea?
A veggie Cornish Pasty!
St Michael’s Mount
If you could be anywhere in the World right now doing anything, what would you be doing and where?
Living on a houseboat in Sausalito – that’s my dream.
Please tell me a random fact about you?
I once sat on Simon Cowell’s chair on the Britain’s Got Talent set.
Thank you Deb, I love your photos. I’m a big Britain’s Got Talent fan, so I’m a little bit jealous of your random fact!
If you would like to take part in Photos of Cornwall, then drop me an email at email@example.com and I will tell you what you need to do. You don’t need to be a blogger or a professional photographer, it is open to anyone who wants to share their love of Cornwall.
