I have another new addition to one of my favourite sections of my blog today, the Photos of Cornwall section. Today’s interview and gorgeous photographs are from the lovely Morgana at the Coffee Work Sleep Repeat blog.
What brought you to Cornwall – if you don’t live here?
I grew up in Cornwall and my dad and all his family are from there so even though I don’t live there any more I still have a strong connection and love going back on holiday.
Where is your favourite place in Cornwall?
That is such a tough question! I love visiting the village I used to live in, Calstock. It’s in the Tamar Valley and is one of the prettiest places, something I certainly didn’t appreciate as a teenager! It was used as a location for the Sky TV series, Delicious, and I loved watching it and spotting places I knew.
What camera/mobile phone do you usually use for your photos?
I have an Olympus PEN EPL7 and I also use the camera on my iPhone 6S PLUS when I’m out and about.
If you could take a photograph of anyone or anywhere in the world, where or who would you choose?
I’m probably the wrong person to ask as I’m no photographer, I’m a point and shoot on auto kind of girl! However, I’d love to travel more with my children and photograph them exploring different places.
Describe Cornwall in a maximum of three words:
Beautiful, calm, creative.
Pasty or Cream tea?
My dad would disown me for this, but cream tea every time.
If you could be anywhere in the World right now doing anything, what would you be doing and where?
I would be at my favourite hotel in Cornwall, Watergate Bay. It one of my favourite places in the world and I feel so relaxed whenever we stay there.
Please tell me a random fact about you?
I much prefer the beach in the winter over the summer! I think being a Cornish girl I have so many memories of being at the beach all year round with friends and we definitely went more when there were fewer tourists around.
Thank you Morgana! Ha I think it could be a Cornish thing loving the beach the most out of season, I especially love the beach when the weather isn’t great and I get the whole beach to myself. I love your photos, thank you so much for taking part!
If you would like to take part in Photos of Cornwall, then drop me an email at firstname.lastname@example.org and I will tell you what you need to do. You don’t need to be a blogger or a professional photographer, it is open to anyone who wants to share their love of Cornwall.
