A new addition to my Photos of Cornwall section today from Nichola West of Globalmouse Travels.
What brought you to Cornwall – if you don’t live here?
We love Cornwall and try to visit a few times a year and in different seasons. We love the fresh air, beautiful beaches and the pasties (amongst other things!!).
Where is your favourite place in Cornwall?
I have a few but I think my favourite is probably Charlestown as it feels like stepping back in time, it’s so beautiful and the little beach makes me feel so calm and happy.
What camera/mobile phone do you usually use for your photos?
I use my iPhone for most of my photos.
If you could take a photograph of anyone or anywhere in the world, where or who would you choose?
Gosh that’s a tricky one as there’s so many. I think it would be the statues on Easter Island as they’re so evocative.
Describe Cornwall in a maximum of three words:
Windswept, calming and restorative.
Pasty or Cream tea?
Aaaagh, what a question! If I was really pushed a pasty (from Choughs!)
If you could be anywhere in the World right now doing anything, what would you be doing and where?
We’re a family that loves to travel so it would be travelling somewhere in Asia, maybe back to Vietnam, eating some veggie noodles in our favourite restaurant in Hoi An with my three kids and husband.
Please tell me a random fact about you?
I’ve got a bronze medal from the British Taekwondo championships!
Thank you Nichola. I am seriously impressed by your random fact, wow! That’s something to be so proud of and I’m pleased that you love Charlestown so much, as I don’t live far from there at all.
If you would like to take part in Photos of Cornwall, then drop me an email at firstname.lastname@example.org and I will tell you what you need to do. You don’t need to be a blogger or a professional photographer, it is open to anyone who wants to share their love of Cornwall.
