Photos of Cornwall with Nicola Says

A new addition to my photos of Cornwall section today, with some beautiful photographs from Nicola of Nicola Says.

Photos of Cornwall with Nicola Saya

What brought you to Cornwall – if you don’t live here?

We’re from just across the border in Devon and visit Cornwall once or twice a year, but this visit was as our first holiday as a family of four so a special one!

Where is your favourite place in Cornwall?

We’ve only really explored Truro, Newquay and the surrounding areas so there’s a lot of Cornwall that’s still new and intriguing. So far I’ve really enjoyed our trip to Lappa Valley (Oscar LOVED it!) and Glendurgan Garden, and I’m sad we didn’t get a chance to see Tintagel Castle on our most recent visit. I’m sure we’ll be back soon though.

What camera/mobile phone do you usually use for your photos?

My camera’s a Canon EOS M10, but I also snap away on my iPhone 6s+ too.

If you could take a photograph of anyone or anywhere in the world, where or who would you choose?

This is such a tough question and I’m sure my answer would change if you asked me in a few months’ time. Right now I’d love to head back to the Great Barrier Reef and photograph the gorgeous shores and beneath the sea.

Describe Cornwall in a maximum of three words:

(A) beautiful, relaxing escape.

Pasty or Cream tea?

Neither (I know!)

If you could be anywhere in the World right now doing anything, what would you be doing and where?

Again my answer would probably change every month or so, but right now I fancy being on a lovely cruise somewhere – maybe to see the Northern Lights. I bet that’s amazing.

Please tell me a random fact about you?

I’m only now learning to drive at 27 – wish I’d done it sooner!

Thank you Nicola, your photos are so lovely! A cruise to see the Northern Lights is at the very top of my bucket list, I bet it is just stunningly amazing!

If you would like to take part in Photos of Cornwall, then drop me an email at and I will tell you what you need to do. You don’t need to be a blogger or a professional photographer, it is open to anyone who wants to share their love of Cornwall.
