Welcome to another addition to the Photos of Cornwall section, one of my favourite sections of my blog. This is the section where I publish Photos of Cornwall interviews along with photos taken by other people. I love seeing my county through other’s eyes and sometimes even discovering places I haven’t visited yet!
The Photos of Cornwall Interview
What brought you to Cornwall – if you don’t live here?:
My first visit to Cornwall was when I was at university and we went to Newquay for some fun and a bit of body boarding. What brought me back though was the landscape and the history.
Where is your favourite place in Cornwall?:
My favourite place in Cornwall is Padstow, although St.Ives runs it a close second. I love the sea.
What camera/mobile phone do you usually use for you photos?:
I usually use my iPhone 5 or my Nikon D3200 (a DSLR, but a good one for a beginners) depending on what I have to hand.
If you could take a photograph of anyone or anywhere in the world, where or who would you choose?:
Photo of anyone or anywhere: At the moment my son is obsessed with Harry Potter, so I think we’d like to take a picture of Daniel Radcliffe as Harry at Hogwarts.
Describe Cornwall in a maximum of three words:
sea, sand, clotted cream
Pasty or Cream tea?:
Cream tea no contest.
If you could be anywhere in the World right now doing anything, what would you be doing and where?:
I’d be in Australia having a cup of team with my sister (not that I’m really that fussed about visiting Oz, but I do miss my sister)
Please tell me a random fact about you?:
My six times great-grandfather (James Tytler) was the first Briton to fly a hot air balloon.
Thanks Erica, I love your random fact! He must have been very brave, as I suspect hot air balloons weren’t quite as safe back then!
