Welcome to another addition to the Photos of Cornwall section, one of my favourite sections of my blog! This is the section where I will be publishing Photos of Cornwall interviews along with photos taken by other people. I love seeing my county through other people’s eyes.
The Photos of Cornwall Interview
Babi a Fi
What brought you to Cornwall – if you don’t live here?:
As a kid we went to Cornwall every summer holiday, because my grandparents had a static caravan in Looe. It has a really special place in my heart because of all the fun we had there, crab fishing, building sandcastles, and eating way too much ice cream. My most vivd memories are of 1999 when Cornwall was the best place to see the solar eclipse. There were people everywhere!
Where is your favourite place in Cornwall?:
Looe, of course. We would always visit Polperro too, for the obligatory half hour trip ‘round the bay.
What camera/mobile phone do you usually use for your photos?:
I use my Blackberry Passport for 99% of photos, but these were taken with my childhood camera – the Le Clic Funshooter.
If you could take a photograph of anyone or anywhere in the world, where or who would you choose?:
I’d take a photo of my daughter. At Disneyland. :)
Describe Cornwall in a maximum of three words:
Pasty or Cream tea?:
Cream tea, every time!
If you could be anywhere in the World right now doing anything, what would you be doing and where?:
I’d be spending my new found millions (billions even, it’s my fantasy!) in Harajuku, Japan.
Please tell me a random fact about you?:
The first CD I ever bought was ‘Viva La Radio’ by Lolly. I took it with me to Cornwall that year, along with my collection of four other CDs, to play on my new Discman. I felt so sophisticated.
