Welcome to another addition to the Photos of Cornwall section, one of my favourite sections of my blog! This is the section where I publish Photos of Cornwall interviews along with photos taken by other people. I love seeing my county through other people’s eyes, whether they are locals or visitors.
The Photos of Cornwall Interview
What brought you to Cornwall – if you don’t live here?:
I was born here and apart from when I went off to uni for a few years, I’ve lived here all my life.
Where is your favourite place in Cornwall?:
I am biased because I live here, but it has to be St. Ives. It’s incredibly busy in Summer and a ghost town in Winter, but it’s still beautiful whatever the weather and there is a real sense of community.
What camera/mobile phone do you usually use for your photos?:
I use a Canon E0S 1200D at the moment. I’m planning on going on a photography course soon so I can learn to take better photos.
If you could take a photograph of anyone or anywhere in the world, where or who would you choose?:
I would like to take a photo of the aurora borealis. Just to see it would be incredible and it must take some skill to capture it in all of it’s beauty.
Describe Cornwall in a maximum of three words:
Beautiful. Home. Friendly.
Pasty or Cream tea?:
That is such a tough question. But I think it has to be pasty. You can get away with eating one for breakfast, lunch or dinner, although it has to be a Philps pasty.
If you could be anywhere in the World right now doing anything, what would you be doing and where?:
I would like to either be right where I am now in St. Ives, only I wish it was Spring/Summer so the weather would be warmer, or I’d love to be sitting on a beach in the Caribbean soaking up the sun with a group of friends and my family.
Please tell me a random fact about you?:
I am incredibly shy! Lots of people think because of my blog that I am incredibly outgoing. But I am so nervous around new people. It’s crazy to me that I’ve started this blog and that I am comfortable sharing so much. But it’s definitely helped to boost my confidence and I’m slowly starting to become more of an extrovert.
Thanks Chloe, I love your photos!
