Review: Pisamonas Shoes for All Seasons

I was recently asked by Pisamonas to review some children’s shoes, and they very kindly let me choose two pairs one for each of my mini men.

Review: Pisamonas

Pisamonas wasn’t a brand I had heard of before, but looking at the Pisamonas website it is a brand I can definitely see myself buying from in future as well. They are based in Spain and the ethos of the company is for good high quality children’s shoes at an affordable price.

We chose the brown suede aviator boots with a zip at the side for Harley which are currently only £31.40, as I really wanted him to have something a little bit smarter for winter and colder days through the year, to wear when we are going out as a family for a meal, or even just on any day out that doesn’t involve needing wellies.

Pisamonas Boys Shoes

I was so pleased with our choice and he loves them. They really do look smart, and that little bit more grown-up for him now that he is ten next month! All the shoe sizes on the website are listed in the European and also the UK sizes. The sizes are accurate as well, as both boys shoes fitted perfectly when we chose their usual UK sizes.

The zip part of Harley’s boots are really handy to make it easier to get them on, as they are quite fitted to the foot and ankle. Most importantly as well as how they look, he finds them really comfortable to wear and easy to run in – an essential for any child in my opinion.

Fin was a bit trickier to choose for, as being 11 and a half he has a big say over what he wears – or rather he will refuse to wear something he doesn’t love regardless of how much money you’ve spent on that item…

So with Fin, I let his choose which shoes he wanted. He chose the Suede and canvas summer plimsolls in a gorgeous blue colour, which are currently just £25.45 in their sale. He is only now in to a size 5, so I felt safe ordering him a pair of shoes for the warmer weather – although he’s been wearing them already.

I also know that since I’m also a size 5, if by any chance his feet do grow suddenly then I can nab them for myself. They really are very nice looking shoes, and I’d happily wear them myself. Luckily he also likes them, so I won’t get to steal them just yet… I could also have returned the shoes if they didn’t fit, as Pisamonas actually have a free shipping, exchanges and returns policy!

His plimsolls are perfect summer shoes, not too heavy on the foot for when he’s running around with his friends on the street, but sturdy enough that he has proper impact protection on his heels.

Pisamonas do all sorts of shoes including school shoes, Mary Janes, Oxfords, Brogues, T-bars and more, but they don’t just do children’s shoes either, they also sell all sorts of accessories and ladies shoes too.

Pisamonas Accessories

Considering the parcel was coming from Spain, my Pisamonas order arrived faster than many of my UK ones and they really are a lovely company to deal with.

I really have nothing negative to say about them, they even popped a balloon each in the shoe boxes for the boys, which went down well with them and they both love their new shoes. Thank you Pisamonas!

The Pisamonas sale ends tomorrow, so be quick if you want to grab even more of a bargain.

These look great Stevie. I’d like to get some of these for Sylvia as they do look good quality. I enjoyed reading this review and thanks for sharing your experience with the shoes.

I’m a bit of a shoe addict where the kids are concerned and I’ve never heard of this brand – will go take a look as those aviator boots look awesome! x

What a great review, Stevie! I hadn’t heard of Pisamonas before reading your post. They sound like a wonderful company. I’m so impressed with their free shipping & returns policy. Adding a balloon in each box was a great touch! I’ll definitely check them out when it’s time to order new shoes. #picknmix

These do look excellent, I’ll definitely check them out because we will be buying the dreaded school shoes in time for September. Where on earth did that time go, how did she suddenly get to school age??x

Aw bless you, I was a blubbering wreck when I dropped each boy off for their first days at school ha! It goes way too quickly, September next year both of mine will be in Secondary school!

The shoes look lovely, I love the boots, Im a bit boots obsessed and both girls have loads of different pairs of boots (I do too but only one pair has ever been worn and they usually get given to my sister after sitting in my cupboard for a few years…) and Boy even though only 3 weeks old has 4 or 5 pairs of ‘shoes’ too..

The boys both look very proud of their new shoes, and in a way I expect its quite nice now they are older and have more of a say in their own clothes rather than thinking “are they going to like it?” every time you buy something, as ive written before the girls already have a lot of say in their clothes and if i buy something they havnt seen first its a tense moment as to whether the like it or not!
