Review: Postboxed – Gifts Through The Letterbox

One of my least favourite things is waiting in for parcels – they never arrive when they are supposed to, and more often than not in my experience, they arrive the second you pop out for five minutes. This is part of why I sometimes hesitate to send gifts in the post as well, I hate making others wait in, even if it is for a treat. This is where Postboxed come in

They are a new company set up in 2015, who make sure that the gifts on their site are letter box friendly. This means whether ordering a gift for someone else, or a treat for yourself you don’t have to wait in for it or make someone else do so. Let’s face it no-one enjoys traipsing to their local post office sorting office either.

For me I have often ended up sending online gift vouchers or Paypal instead of gifts to people like my Mum, who is at work most days. She lives in Stourbridge, so I always have to send something rather than give in person. Postboxed is much more personal than that, you can actually choose a gift that you know they will have waiting on their doormat for them when they get home.

They even post to overseas addresses, which is perfect for me with my oldest sister, brother-in-law, niece and nephew living in Turkey. Postboxed have all sorts of gifts to choose from, whether you want to send jewellery, a pretty notebook, maybe a scarf, bow tie or even a make your own penguin.

The lovely people at Postboxed let me try out their service recently, and sent me a gift of my choice to review their service. It arrived very quickly and as promised fit through my door. I love that their gifts are wrapped for you in pretty tissue paper, and a gorgeous wrapping paper goes over this inside the box.

Postboxed review

I chose to have a bracelet sent to me, which is absolutely gorgeous and just my style – well I did choose it.

When you visit the Postboxed site, it’s easy to use and has loads of lovely things to choose from. I keep eyeing the business card holders on there up now, as my cards get a bit of a battering in my bag – should possibly hand them out more often.

I will definitely be using them in future, especially as having the items wrapped so nicely and being able to add a note to the gift gives a lovely personal touch to it. If anyone fancies ordering my future birthday or Christmas gifts from here, I really won’t object either. I definitely recommend them.

Stevie x

*I was sent a bracelet to try out the Postboxed service, but as always all thoughts are my own and honest*

What a great idea! Will check out their website. My brother is up in Edinburgh and we always have this problem with each other’s gifts and revert to vouchers.

This is fab! I run a linky every week talking about things that have come through the post that week but you’d be amazed how many don’t actually fit through the letterbox!
