I Saw Santa in Cornwall book

Today’s prize is the I Saw Santa in Cornwall book written by JD Green and illustrated by Nadja Sarell and Srimalie Bassani. I picked the book up from Trago Mills, but you can also find it in several shops online including Amazon. (Affiliate link)

The blurb on the back of the book says:

Santa’s not planned his holiday this year.

Mrs Claus says, “Shall we go to Cornwall, my dear?

You always say it’s your favourite place,

but remember, the children should not see your face.”

Santa and Mrs Claus want to go on holiday, but can someone as famous as Santa stay out of sight? Snuggle up and read what happens when things don’t go quite as planned.

I Saw Santa in Cornwall book inside

I love this book, not only is it colourful with lovely illustrations, but it features my favourite place – Cornwall. Inside the book lots of local places are mentioned and on the cover you can even see the biomes of The Eden Project.

I love the map inside the book and it’s a nice novelty to recognise so many place names in a book, places that I’ve visited since I was a child and I suspect this book will be loved by parents as much as children!
