Game and The New Toy Range

I was given a toy at BlogOn Xmas this year and it was the first time that I had heard of it. I didn’t realise at the time that was also a game.

A game which since we have downloaded it onto our various phones and tablets, we all love playing. It reminds me a bit of the old Snake game that I had on my first mobile phone – well a souped up colourful slightly wacky version!

As you go around eating the multicoloured lights (pellets) your snake gets bigger. The aim of the game is to grow the longest snake that you can and the longest snake in the game. To make things more fun and challenging you can play against other people online. You can either play via the website or via the app.

It’s hugely popular, 60% of British 0-14 year olds have downloaded and 124 million games are played a month in the UK. If you watch the video below, you can see top Vlogger Dan TDM playing the game.

Trends UK sent us an assortment of toys to see what we thought of them. We were sent:

x2 8″ Bendable Hanger Plush

x1 Bendable Slither Blindbag

3 Pack of Bendable Slithers

x1 Mini Squashie toys

All of us decided pretty quickly that the plush were our favourite toys out of the selection. I mean seriously how cute are they?!

The Squashie came a close second, its head goes crazily big when you squeeze it. Apparently we need to buy another one of these soon, so that the boys have one each – so obviously they both like them. They’re quite a good stress reliever too, a bit like a stress ball but cuter.

We are definitely fans of the game and the new toys range – they would make fabulous stocking fillers for Christmas this year. Keep an eye out for them in toys shops and you can also buy them from Amazon(affiliate link).

Also, definitely try out the game, it’s a lot of fun!

We were sent the items above for the purpose of this post but, as always all thoughts and opinions are my own and honest.
