Taking Time off with NOW TV

Usually I really don’t stop working on my blog or my writing for other people – being self employed can really mean you forget to actually ‘clock off’. This week though, I have actually taken time off and been for some gorgeous walks and then snuggled up to NOW TV afterwards.

I’ve not even been multitasking by typing, working on my accounts or note taking whilst watching the television either, I have actually been relaxed, doing one thing for the first time in a very long time.

Don’t get me wrong, I absolutely love blogging and even being busy, but I really do think I needed time to recharge and I’ve been working on getting that life work balance back. Some quality family and even couple time has been the result.

Walks in Cornwall

Spring seems to have arrived in Cornwall recently, and it has been lovely to get outside more. It’s still a bit cold as the day goes on though. This means it has been great to come home change out of our muddy shoes and jeans (I may have fallen over in to a boggy patch), pop our pyjamas on and snuggle up to watch family films on NOW TV.

You may have noticed I have the NOW TV blogger’s badge in my sidebar, this is because as one of their bloggers I get access to all the packages – films, sport and entertainment for the forseeable future. I’m seriously happy about this, as not only have we been watching family films like Big Hero 6 and Cinderella (okay maybe that one was just me), but the boys have also been watching television series such as the new Teenage Mutant ninja Turtles on there.

Plus whilst I’m working, I do quite often now have some sort of ‘chick flick’ on at the same time. I am living the dream ;) I watched one of my favourites on there recently, 50 First Dates. Si has been enjoying the Sport too – the only downside to being given all the packages ha!

So far I think my favourite things about NOW TV are that there is so much choice – over 1000 movies usually and even better they regularly change, so there is always something new popping up in the Recently Added section. Today I have just noticed San Andreas which looks good, I also have plans to investigate and watch a lot of the box sets of television series on there as well.

So here’s to lots more cosy evenings with NOW TV, I don’t even mind so much if it rains now but sshh don’t tell the Cornish weather that, as it truly is spectacularly beautiful outside recently.

AH we love Now TV but I love how you combine that with country walks for your downtime. If I had that view to walk along I too would get out in the fresh air! x

We have recently joined the NOW TV blog squad, and I have also been using it to switch off from blogging. The laptop is off by a certain time and we watch a box set or a film. Cam highly recommend The Affair on the entertainment package if you have not seen it yet x

It’s great that you’ve managed to take time off to enjoy yourself without multi tasking. I’m terrible for always doing some sort of work. We are also big fans of NOW TV, we particularly love the fact it is such a cheap way to get entertainment channels like sky 1.x
