This year so far my Mr. Perfect’s amazing nephew Brandon has put on two fundraising events for Children’s Hospice South West. Brandon is only 15, and has decided to spend time helping others, and I thought I would write this blog post to partly advertise his next fundraiser, and also just to let everyone know what a fab job he has been doing!
His next fundraiser is due to be held on 30th May 2015, and it is a Minion Fun Run! He wants people to come dressed as minions, and walk run or hop if you really wish, 2 miles in aid of a charity who do an amazing job (more on this below!) The fun run will be held at St Austell Rugby Club (website address included below for more info), registration will be at 11am and the run will start at 12pm. This fun run is open to all ages, the more the merrier! Weather permitting there will hopefully be a BBQ or indoor refreshments to buy.
For sponsorship forms you can either call or text Brandon himself on 07514476708, call Little Harbour on 01726 871800, and either register on the day or visit www.facebook.com/minionfunrun and https://twitter.com/minionfunrun15 for more information.
Children’s Hospice South West helps parents and children when they need it most, their aim is to ‘make the most of short and precious lives across the South West’. CHSW does an amazing job, and is a very worthwhile cause.
‘Children’s hospice services help children and young people with life-limiting conditions who are not expected to reach adulthood, and their families, to deal with the emotional and physical challenges they face and to make the most of life. This care can be provided throughout the course of a child or young person’s life.’
Even if you don’t live locally, and will only be down on holiday on this date, feel free to enter, and feel like you are giving something back on your holiday. Also, if you are worried about the dressing up part, don’t be! You won’t be turned away if you don’t dress up, and you could even just wear a minion t shirt. There are loads of these t shirts for sale on ebay.

I have just also seen on Twitter that the fab people at Cornwall Design & Print have offered to donate the certificates for the Fun Run! Find out more about them at…..
