Padstow Vintage Rally

Location: Green Lane, Padstow, PL28 8RL

Time: 10am – 5pm

Details: Steam engines, tractors, cars, horses, shows, food, stalls and lots more.

Looe Lugger Regatta

Location: Looe Bay

Time: Various

Details: Luggers (not just Cornish) come from all over the UK and even some from France including a couple of three-masted luggers called the Carontin and the La Cancalaise. Boats usually arrive on the Friday and are sailing in Looe Bay on Saturday.

Wind in the Willows by Quantum Theatre

Location: Bedruthan Hotel & Spa, Mawgan Porth, TR8 4BU

Time: 5pm – 7pm

Details: Outdoor theatre performance of Wind in the Willows by Quantum Theatre on a sea-view lawn. Arrive from 4:30pm, performance starts at 5pm with a running time 1 hour and 35 minutes including a 15 minute interval. Perfect for those aged 5+. Book tickets in advance, see the link below.

Family Fun Day and Dog Show

Food Jam 2019

Location: Enys Gardens, Penryn, TR10 9LB

Time: Various

FRIDAY 12TH JULY 2019


Outdoor Cinema at Tregenna – Pulp Fiction

Location: Tregenna Castle Estate, St Ives, TR26 2DE

Time: 8pm onwards

Details: Over 18’s only due to the film age rating – if you’re lucky enough to look young take ID with you. Bar and food will be available to purchase and the film will start around 9.30pm – as soon as it’s dark. Bring your chairs, blankets or beanbags, grab some popcorn and make yourself comfortable.

Fisherman’s Friends – Port Isaac Charity Gig

Location: Port Isaac

Time: 7.30pm – 9pm

Details: Free open-air charity concert with a collection for local charities. This event is weather-permitting and may be cancelled at short notice – keep an eye on the Facebook event page.

SATURDAY 13TH JULY 2019


Falmouth Gin Festival

Location: The Greenbank Hotel, Harbourside, Falmouth, TR11 2SR

Time: 12pm – 11.30pm

Details: A whole host of entertainment, including masterclasses from their gin distilleries and performances from local singer songwriters and their resident DJ. Your ticket will include a G&T on arrival, samples from their distilleries, and a keepsake branded gin glass. You will need to buy a ticket, more info on how and pricing via the link below.

Proms 2019 at Mount Edgcumbe

Location: Mount Edgcumbe House and Country Park, Cremyll, Torpoint, Cornwall, PL10 1HZ

Time: 5.30pm – 10.30pm

Details: Proms with The South West Philharmonia & Chorus, conducted by Marcus Alleyne. With The South West Philharmonia & Chorus, conducted by Marcus Alleyne, plus special guest artists from across the UK. Outdoor event, the stage will be positioned at the bottom of the hill in front of the house. You are welcome to bring- Picnics, drinks, chairs, tables, flags and children! Liskeard Agricultural Show

Location: Merrymeet, Nr Liskeard, PL14 3LE

Time: 8am – 6pm

Details: Cattle, sheep, horses, donkeys, poultry, main ring entertainment, live music, fun fair, dog show, shopping, craft, over 200 trade stands, countryside area, childrens entertainer, bar, food, competitions and lots more.

MONDAY 15TH JULY 2019


Stithians Show 2019

Location: Stithians Show, The Showground, Stithians, TR3 7DP

Time: 8am – 6pm

Details: One day agricultural show in Cornwall. Competitions with numerous animals of all shapes and sizes, Cornish food and drink to try and buy, art and craft stands and many more trade stands, countryside area, horticultural show, fun fair, vintage vehicles, dog agility, live music and entertainment.

SATURDAY 20TH JULY 2019


Blue Moon Festival

Location: YHA Treyarnon Bay, Treyarnon Bay, Padstow, PL28 8JR

Time: 11am – 11pm

Details: Starting at 11am for some zumba with Matt and Mr Sam Chick, music starts at midday till 11pm. Music, stalls and pop-up bar as well as a children’s tent for crafts and activities. Cakes and drinks from the cafe/bar as well as a BBQ and possibly a hog roast.

Cornwall Gin Cruise

Location: Prince of Wales Pier, Falmouth

Time: 6.30pm

Details: A gin-filled evening on the Fal River onboard the classic wooden ferry Moyana. Once on board, you will enjoy a selection of gourmet canapes and a choice of 3 Gin and Tonic Cocktails. This event is strictly over 18’s only. Terms and conditions apply.

Classic Cars and Country Show

Details: ‘A classic car show combined with a classic Cornish country day out’. Raising money for Marie Curie. Selection of stalls and activities on the day as well.

A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Outdoor Theatre

Location: Pentillie Castle & Estate, Saltash, PL12 6QD

Time: 7.30pm – 10pm

Details: Outdoor Theatre – A Midsummer Night’s Dream with The Lord Chamberlain’s Men. performance at 7.30pm with the gardens open from 5.30pm. Bring low backed seating or a picnic rug and make sure that you dress-up warm. The performance will go ahead in all but the very worst weather. Pisky Trail at Roskilly’s

Location: Roskillys Tregellast Barton Farm, Helston, TR12 6NX

Time: Trails available between 10.30 am – 4 pm

Details: £2.50 for a Pisky Trail. Two types of Pisky Trails available. Come and have fun finding all the Cornish Pisky Pals hiding on the farm – new hiding places and new Mystery Pisky Phrase. Receive a Cornish Pisky Pal sticker for each returned Pisky Trail and get entered into the prize draw. Parking is free and dogs on leads are welcome.

15th Century Joust at Pendennis Castle

Location: Pendennis Castle, Falmouth, TR114

Time: 11am – 5pm

Details: Watch the jousting, hawks and more. Immerse yourself in medieval life, listen to the minstrels’ merry music and join in with the jester’s jokes. Little knights can test their bravery in hobby-horse jousts and try on medieval armour.

Porthmeor Cinema on the Beach

Location: Porthmeor Beach, St Ives
